Our client in Coralville, IA is looking for a Night Warehouse Worker!

Position Summary: Our client, a leading foodservice distributor in Coralville, IA, is seeking a dependable Night Warehouse Worker to support outbound shipping and general warehouse operations. The primary responsibilities of this position include securing outbound shipments with hand-wrapping material, preparing trailers for loading, removing empty boxes and trash, and thoroughly cleaning trailers. This is an overnight, evaluation-to-hire opportunity in a fast-paced warehouse environment. No interview is required, and training will be provided on the electric pallet jack.

Key Responsibilities:

• Secure outbound shipments using hand-wrapping material
• Prepare trailers for loading by removing empty boxes, trash, and debris
• Thoroughly clean trailers before products are loaded
• Assist with the efficient and accurate loading of route trucks
• Support shipping and other warehouse operations as needed
• Operate an electric pallet jack after completing company-provided training
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized warehouse and trailer areas
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements
• Notify management of potential safety hazards or concerns
• Assist in other warehouse positions as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required
• Ability to stand and walk frequently throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable with frequent bending, kneeling, twisting, and lifting
• Willing and able to work in both dry and refrigerated warehouse areas
• Dependable attendance and ability to work until all nightly duties are completed
• Ability to follow safety, sanitation, and GMP procedures
• Comfortable operating an electric pallet jack after training
• Flexibility to work occasional overtime as needed

Work Environment:

• Approximately two-thirds of the warehouse is maintained at an ambient temperature of around 70°F
• Approximately one-third of the warehouse is refrigerated and maintained at around 36°F
• Regular movement between dry and refrigerated warehouse areas
• Fast-paced environment with frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, twisting, and lifting

Hours:

• Sunday–Thursday
• 6:00 p.m. until work is completed, typically between 2:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m.
• Occasional overtime may be required

Pay:

• $17/hour
