Material Handler/ Forklift

Located in Houston, TX

Salary: 17-18

POSITION: Material Handler/ Forklift 

$17- $18

 

Night shift- 4pm- 4:30am

 

Essential Functions

• Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
• Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, shelves, and trucking transportation.
• Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
• Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area.
• Operates industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
• Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site.

 

 

Qualifications:

• Forklift/Pallet Jack/Truck operating experience moving tubular products (long) preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Must be able to drive a forklift.
• Cover other departments as needed in shipping, receiving, and blend.
• 2 years related experience
