Role: Order Picker works in a warehouse to gather the appropriate items to fulfill incoming orders. They’re responsible for locating objects on shelves or racks, packing them, and transporting them to trucks or shipping containers.
· Physically unloads, sorts, and palletizes related products
· Check receipt of related products against the packing list/product list
· Check all related products and packaging for any signs of damage
· Notes any discrepancies on the shipper’s Bill of Lading
· Notifies the Operations Manager of any discrepancies
· Find and place palletized related products in the appropriate location
· Moves related products from its location to the appropriate staging area
· Checks related products against the packing list/product list
· Notifies the supervisor of any discrepancies
· Locate and pull related products for daily orders
· Apply applicable labels for shipping-related products
· Process applicable paperwork for daily shipments
· Report to supervisor with daily shipment status
· Operates all equipment (stand-up, pallet jacks, order picker, RF scanner, etc.) safely, ensuring that equipment is kept clean and free of debris
· Maintains a clean, safe work area, free from excess debris on floors, racks, and outside dock areas
· Completes paperwork necessary to locate related products inventory to be subsequently pulled for order fulfillment
· Properly records receipt of related product inventory for accurate data entry into the operating system
· Interfaces with co-workers and approved subcontractors
· Contributes to a team effort by accomplishing related results or projects as needed
