Job Summary

The Warehouse Picker/Packer is responsible for accurately selecting, packing, labeling, and preparing customer orders for shipment. This position supports warehouse operations by maintaining inventory accuracy, following safety procedures, and ensuring products are handled efficiently and with care to meet customer and company standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Pick products from warehouse inventory according to pick tickets, packing slips, or handheld scanners.
• Verify item numbers, quantities, and product descriptions to ensure order accuracy.
• Pack products securely using appropriate packaging materials.
• Label packages and prepare shipments according to carrier and customer requirements.
• Inspect products for damage or defects before packing and shipping.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory.
• Perform cycle counts and inventory checks as assigned.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, or other material-handling equipment as authorized.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Meet established productivity, accuracy, and attendance expectations.
• Support other warehouse duties and special projects as needed.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions, order forms, and shipping documents.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
• Frequent repetitive hand and arm movements.
