About the Company:
Express Employment Professionals is hiring Production MIG Welders in Dunlap, TN. This role is responsible for fitting, tacking, and finish welding metal parts to meet production and quality standards. Ideal candidates will have strong welding skills, blueprint reading ability, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:

Review and maintain the production schedule, expedite list and/or work orders.

Weld metal parts together using the MIG (Gas Metal Arc Welding) process and any combination of arc welding processes, according to customer or company prints.

Study prints, process sheets or layouts on work pieces to determine required assembly and sequence of operations.

Check dimensions of component parts to assure print conformance, using layout and/or required inspection equipment.

Lay out reference lines and machining locations on work pieces per prints.

Operate various power tools and assembly/fixture tables (for example Bluco or layout tables) for small lot size assembly work.

Manipulate parts to correct dimensions by heating, clamping, or restraining.

Complete assembly as required, via welding, gas brazing or other methods.

Process completed orders for shipment.

Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications / Preferred Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Trade school, college, or combination of formal training + weld experience preferred.

Experience with MIG welding in a production or fabrication environment (reading prints, working to tight tolerances).

Ability to use measurement and inspection equipment.

Familiarity with layout, fixturing, and basic assembly processes.

Good attention to detail, team-oriented mindset, and willingness to work in a continuous improvement environment (consistent with company values).

Able to stand for extended periods, lift and manipulate parts (typical fabrication duties may require lifting, clamping, etc.).

Safety minded: follow all required PPE, safe welding practices, inspection & documentation procedures.
