Plant Maintenance Technician

Pay: Starting at $20.00/hour
Schedule:

• May – November: Night Shift, 5:45 PM – 5:00 AM, rotating schedule (4 days on, 2 days off)
• December – April: Day Shift, Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Position Summary

Express Employment is seeking Plant Maintenance Technicians for a client in New Richmond, Wisconsin! These candidates repair, maintain, troubleshoot, and monitor plant machinery and equipment. This role supports efficient production operations while maintaining a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on plant equipment and machinery.
• Assist with installation and modification of equipment.
• Utilize welding, fabrication, and troubleshooting skills.
• Order parts and supplies as needed.
• Estimate labor and material requirements for maintenance projects.
• Support special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform Processing Lead duties as needed during production season.
• Supervise seasonal employees and promote safe work practices.
• Address minor personnel issues and communicate major concerns to management.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Mechanical maintenance experience preferred.
• Welding, fabrication, and troubleshooting skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in an industrial setting.
