Electro Mechanic
Located in Edinburgh, IN
Salary: Up to $35/hr
Company Information: We're seeking an experienced Electro Mechanic to join a growing manufacturing team. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and improving a variety of electrical and mechanical systems throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will have strong PLC troubleshooting experience, solid industrial maintenance skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement. This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity!
Electro Mechanic Job Duties:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electromechanical equipment and systems
- Install and maintain electrical components on manufacturing equipment
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical failures using schematics, drawings, and diagnostic tools
- Program and modify PLCs to improve equipment performance and reliability
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities
- Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and commissioning projects
- Troubleshoot motors, drives, sensors, actuators, and automated systems
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency and reducing downtime
- Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout requirements
- Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and communicate effectively with production and engineering teams

Schedule:
- Training Period (approximately 3 months): Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
- After Training: 12-hour night shifts, 6:00 PM-6:00 AM
- Rotating 2-2-3 schedule
- Must be willing to work a rotating schedule.
Requirements:
- Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on electromechanical maintenance experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with electromechanical equipment in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience troubleshooting and programming PLCs (Allen-Bradley/Rockwell and Siemens preferred)
- Hands-on experience with AC/DC motors, drives, servo systems, and high-voltage equipment
- Experience working with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to safely use electrical testing equipment and maintenance tools
