Salary: Up to $35/hr

Company Information: We're seeking an experienced Electro Mechanic to join a growing manufacturing team. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and improving a variety of electrical and mechanical systems throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will have strong PLC troubleshooting experience, solid industrial maintenance skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement. This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity! 

 

 

Electro Mechanic Job Duties:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electromechanical equipment and systems
  • Install and maintain electrical components on manufacturing equipment
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical failures using schematics, drawings, and diagnostic tools
  • Program and modify PLCs to improve equipment performance and reliability
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities
  • Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and commissioning projects
  • Troubleshoot motors, drives, sensors, actuators, and automated systems
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency and reducing downtime
  • Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout requirements
  • Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and communicate effectively with production and engineering teams

Schedule:

    • Training Period (approximately 3 months): Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
    • After Training: 12-hour night shifts, 6:00 PM-6:00 AM
    • Rotating 2-2-3 schedule
    • Must be willing to work a rotating schedule.

 

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on electromechanical maintenance experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with electromechanical equipment in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Experience troubleshooting and programming PLCs (Allen-Bradley/Rockwell and Siemens preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with AC/DC motors, drives, servo systems, and high-voltage equipment
  • Experience working with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to safely use electrical testing equipment and maintenance tools
