Job Title: Counter Sales Associate (Part-Time)

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Compensation: $15.00 per hour

Overview:
We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and hardworking Part-Time Counter Sales Associate to assist customers and support daily store operations on a three-day-per-week schedule. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in a well-organized workspace, and doesn't mind staying busy with a mix of customer-facing and hands-on tasks throughout the day.

Responsibilities:

Customer Service & Counter Sales:

  • Greet and assist customers at the counter in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Handle customer inquiries, product questions, and purchases accurately and efficiently
  • Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with orders, availability questions, and general inquiries
  • Process sales transactions and ensure customers leave with a positive experience
  • Build rapport with repeat customers and provide consistent, reliable service

Stocking & Merchandising:

  • Stock shelves and ensure products are organized, labeled, and easy to locate
  • Monitor inventory levels on the floor and communicate low stock to management
  • Keep the counter and sales floor clean, neat, and presentable throughout the day

Product Assembly & Prep:

  • Assemble products and prepare items for display or customer pickup as needed
  • Ensure assembled items meet quality standards before going to the floor or to a customer
  • Assist with receiving and organizing incoming inventory as directed

Requirements:

  • Prior customer service, retail, or counter sales experience preferred
  • Comfortable assisting customers both in person and over the phone
  • Friendly, professional demeanor with strong communication skills
  • Ability to stay organized and productive with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Punctual and reliable — consistent availability on scheduled days required
