Express Employment Professionals, Delta BC office, is hiring for an Edmonton area, AB -  Territory Sales Representative/ Manufacturers/ Distributors Representative, who is responsible for marketing and selling a variety of pet-related products. The role involves outside and inside sales and is working remotely from home and in the field and directly hired by our client company whose head office is in BC.

 

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Customer Acquisition:

Identify new customers via online business listings, leads, trade shows, and conferences.
Contact both new and existing customers to explain product benefits.
Sales Process:

Monitor contacts, promotional activities, and sales volume.
Assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs and comply with regulations.
Emphasize product features, capabilities, and limitations.
Address customer inquiries about pricing and availability.

Negotiation and Contracting:

Negotiate prices and terms for sales and service agreements.
Prepare sales contracts and process orders.

Collaboration & Follow-Up:

Exchange information with colleagues regarding sales strategies and marketing insights.
Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with purchases.
Provide product demonstrations highlighting benefits.

Specialization:

Some representatives specialize in selling to specific vendors (e.g., veterinary clinics, pet store chains) or at major trade shows.
Others may focus on products for particular species, such as dogs, cats, or horses.

Career Advancement:

Successful representatives may advance to a regional sales manager role, overseeing a team of sales representatives and providing training and support.
This role requires a blend of product knowledge, customer service, negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Monday to Friday, full time flexible according to client's times

 

Salary is $70-75,000 plus commission - average to the top Sales Representative is making about $100,000 to $120,000/ year. Extended benefits after probationary period.
