Express Employment is looking for an Installer Helper for a long-term position.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8A.M. – 4:30 P.M. (Hours may varies)

Pay: $17/hour

Location: Chico, CA

Job Description:

• Assisting the lead installer with installation of water softeners, filtration systems, reverse-osmosis systems, and related equipment.
• Loading, unloading, and transporting equipment, tools, and materials to job sites.
• Preparing the work area and protecting customers’ floors, walls, and property.
• Helping with plumbing connections, tubing, fittings, drains, and equipment setup under the installer’s direction.
• Using basic hand and power tools safely.
• Testing equipment and checking for leaks after installation.
• Cleaning up the work area and removing installation debris.
• Explaining basic equipment operation to customers when instructed.
• Maintaining and organizing tools, vehicles, and installation supplies.
• Following safety procedures and local plumbing/building requirements.
• Providing professional, courteous customer service while working inside customers’ homes or businesses.
• Assisting with troubleshooting, service calls, and equipment replacements as needed.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by Lead/Supervisor.

Requirements:

• 1 - 3 years of current experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in tight spaces, crawl, and under houses.
