Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals in Waterloo is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to join a local warehouse team. This position helps support daily warehouse operations by assisting with workflow direction, troubleshooting issues, training team members, and serving as a key resource for warehouse processes and automation systems. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safety and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily floor operations and task allocation
• Help prioritize workloads to meet production goals
• Serve as a resource for warehouse processes and systems
• Provide training and guidance to team members
• Support process improvements and operational efficiency
• Collaborate with supervisors and cross-functional teams
• Follow and promote workplace safety procedures
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse experience required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Basic proficiency with warehouse management software and Microsoft Office
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
• Experience with material handling equipment preferred or willingness to learn

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and move throughout the shift
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment
• Ability to lift and move materials as needed
