Metal Finisher - 2nd Shift

Pay: $20.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 3:30 PM-2:00 AM

Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals in Waterloo is seeking a Metal Finisher to join a local manufacturing team. This position involves grinding, quality control, and finishing metal parts after the cutting process. The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing repetitive tasks and working in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Grind and finish metal parts to meet quality standards
• Inspect parts for defects and quality issues
• File, count, and sort finished parts
• Perform general labor duties as assigned
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow all safety and quality procedures

Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
• Frequent lifting, bending, twisting, and reaching
• Ability to work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for a full shift
