Job Title: Material Handler (C Shift)
City and State: McHenry, IL
Pay Rate: $20.50/hour
Schedule/Shift: Sunday - Tuesday, 6:45 PM - 7:00 AM and every other Saturday
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Summary:
The Material Handler is responsible for ensuring the timely distribution of supplies and materials needed to meet production requirements while adhering to ISO standards. This role supports production operations through the movement of raw materials and finished goods, as well as the setup, cleaning, and maintenance of auxiliary equipment used during material and color changes.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain all material system filters daily.
- Clean hoppers, grinders, blenders, regrind bins, colorant bins, and material hoses for material and color changes.
- Perform hook-up and setup of auxiliary equipment.
- Complete minor preventative maintenance on auxiliary equipment.
- Transfer raw materials and finished goods to support production requirements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
- Ability to obtain a forklift license.
- Basic computer skills preferred and ability to work well under pressure.
