Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced BOP Technician to join a team in Midland, TX.

Position Overview

The BOP Technician is responsible for the maintenance, inspection, testing, and repair of blowout preventers (BOPs) and related pressure control equipment used in drilling operations. This position plays an important role in ensuring BOP systems function properly to prevent well blowouts and maintain a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform maintenance, inspections, testing, and repairs on BOP systems and pressure control equipment
Troubleshoot hydraulic and mechanical systems
Ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently
Identify and address equipment issues and perform necessary repairs
Follow industry regulations, safety procedures, and company standards
Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, testing, and repairs

Requirements

Valid Driver’s License REQUIRED
Knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical systems
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work safely in an oilfield environment
Attention to detail and commitment to safety
Previous BOP or pressure control experience preferred
