Position Summary

A Construction Erector is responsible for assembling, installing, and securing structural components such as steel frameworks, metal buildings, towers, platforms, and other construction materials according to project specifications and safety standards. The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a construction team.

Key Responsibilities

• Erect and install structural steel, metal buildings, and prefabricated components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and work orders.
• Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and lifting devices safely and effectively.
• Align, bolt, weld, and secure structural components according to specifications.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials.
• Operate aerial lifts, forklifts, cranes, and other equipment as authorized.
• Inspect materials and completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and contractors.
• Perform other construction-related duties as assigned.
