Location: Solomon Colors
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (includes a 30-minute lunch break)
Compensation: Up to $27.00 per hour

Position Summary

Solomon Colors is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Account Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for managing a designated sales territory, providing exceptional customer service, and serving as the primary point of contact for customers, vendors, contractors, homeowners, and purchasing personnel. The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses strong communication and problem-solving skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of customer interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support a designated territory, building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Serve as the primary contact for contractors, vendors, homeowners, purchasers, and other business partners.
• Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound phone calls, with approximately 50% of the workday dedicated to customer communication.
• Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Utilize strong problem-solving skills to identify solutions and efficiently manage customer concerns.
• Accurately enter and maintain customer orders, account information, and records across multiple software systems.
• Work effectively between two business systems while ensuring accuracy and consistency of information.
• Process orders, quotations, and other documentation with a high level of attention to detail.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely order fulfillment and issue resolution.
• Maintain organized account records and follow-up schedules.
• Prepare and distribute written communications, including emails, quotes, and customer correspondence.
• Meet performance goals and contribute to the continued growth of the assigned territory.

Qualifications

• Previous Supervisory or management experience in account management, customer service, inside sales, or a related role preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with data entry and 10-key operation.
• Comfortable working within multiple computer systems simultaneously.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with a strong drive to succeed and achieve results.
