Quality Assurance / Quality Control Specialist – Food Manufacturing

We are hiring an experienced Quality Assurance / Quality Control Specialist to join a growing food ingredient and manufacturing company in Farmers Branch.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on, pays close attention to detail, and takes pride in making sure products, processes, and documentation meet established quality standards.

Previous QA/QC experience is required. Experience within food, dietary supplements, nutraceuticals, ingredients, pharmaceuticals, or another regulated manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.

What You'll Do

  • Support day-to-day Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities within the manufacturing operation
  • Monitor products and production processes for compliance with established quality standards and procedures
  • Review and maintain accurate quality and production documentation
  • Identify quality issues, discrepancies, or nonconforming conditions and communicate concerns to the appropriate team members
  • Assist with inspections, quality checks, and verification activities
  • Help ensure proper documentation, recordkeeping, and traceability
  • Work closely with production, quality, laboratory, and management personnel
  • Follow established SOPs, GMP requirements, food safety practices, and company quality procedures
  • Assist with quality investigations and corrective actions as needed
  • Maintain organized and accurate quality records
  • Help ensure products consistently meet customer and company requirements
  • Support additional QA/QC responsibilities as the operation continues to grow

What We're Looking For

  • Previous professional Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control experience
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Experience reviewing records, identifying discrepancies, and following established quality procedures
  • Comfortable working in both an office/documentation environment and around a manufacturing/production operation
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to learn technical product information, specifications, procedures, and quality requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Dependable, organized, coachable, and able to follow through on responsibilities
  • Comfortable asking questions and speaking up when something does not meet established requirements
  • Able to work effectively with production employees, management, and other departments
