Express Employment Professionals is hiring on behalf of a local towing company seeking a reliable and customer-focused Weekend Dispatcher to join their team. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential for long-term employment for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, basic computer knowledge, and the ability to remain organized in a fast-paced environment. Previous dispatching experience is a plus but is not required. We are willing to train the right person.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls and gather customer information
- Dispatch drivers efficiently and accurately
- Enter and maintain information in company systems
- Provide excellent customer service over the phone and in person
- Assist customers who visit the office to claim vehicles or retrieve personal property
- Communicate effectively with drivers and customers throughout the day
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable and punctual
- Previous dispatching, call center, customer service, or administrative experience is helpful but not required
Additional Information
- Temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential
- Weekday daytime training is preferred if candidate's schedule permits, but it is not required.
