Crate Builder / Packing Specialist

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (some flexibility available)
Overtime: Available as needed

Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Crate Builder to join our team. In this role, you will build custom wooden crates and containers used to safely ship and transport products. Accuracy, craftsmanship, and a strong work ethic are essential, as each crate is custom-built to customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Construct and assemble custom shipping crates according to specifications and drawings
• Measure, cut, and fasten materials using hand and power tools
• Build sturdy containers to protect products during transportation
• Inspect completed crates for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity
• Work closely with team members to meet production schedules
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines

Requirements

• Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately
• Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment and in the heat
• Able to stand, bend, kneel, and move throughout the shift
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions
• Strong attention to detail
• Team-oriented attitude and dependable attendance
• Experience with carpentry, woodworking, construction, or manufacturing is a plus but not required
