Machine Assistant- 3rd shift

A local packaging manufacturing company is seeking a Machine Assistant for their 2nd shift. The ideal candidate would have strong communication skills and ability to work in a team setting or individually depending on the assigned position. Consistent and dependable attendance.
Key Responsibilites:
Assist with machine setup, calibration, and operation of manufacturing equipment
Monitor production quality to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting using hand tools
Accurately document production data, downtime, and maintenance using computer systems
Communicate effectively with teammates and supervisors to resolve issues and meet production goals
Qualities Required:
Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment that is hot and humid in the Summer/Fall
Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math used in manufacturing process
Experience Required:
2-3 years proven and consistent work background
Ability to work any shift in a 3-shift environment as well as up to 4 hours overtime either before or after scheduled shift up to 12 hours. (both daily and/or weekend)
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform repetitive motions, involving lift, push/pull up to 50 lbs., navigate stairs, stand, walk, and bend throughout the entire shift with or without reasonable accommodation.
Full Time Evaluation Hire Position
M-F 11:00 pm - 7:00 am
$21.03 / hour
