About the Role

Looking for a high-earning position with built-in overtime and a direct line to union benefits? Express Employment Professionals is hiring a full-time Production Worker (Rotating Shift) for an established commercial production facility in the 63115 area.

This is a true ground-floor, physically demanding position. You will spend your first 90 days tackling intensive plant sanitation, equipment blow-downs, and bulk material cleanup. If you bring a strong work ethic, do not mind getting dirty, and want to log ~56 hours a week at up to $22/hr, this role sets you up for full-time hire and entry into the Baker’s Union.

Understanding the Shift Schedule & Overtime

• Heavy Hours: Expect roughly 56 hours per week, giving your weekly paycheck a massive boost.

• Onboarding Schedule (First 90 Days):

  • Days 1–45: 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Monday – Thursday)

  • Days 46–90: Day Schedule (5:00 AM – 3:00 PM | Thursday – Monday)

• Ongoing Rotation: After 90 days, you transition to an ongoing schedule that rotates between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts every 3 weeks to balance team coverage.

What You Will Do

• Plant Sanitation (Months 1–3): Heavy use of shovels and manual tools to clear dust, grain residue, and byproduct from production lines into disposal barrels.

• Pneumatic Blow-Downs: Safely operate high-pressure air equipment to strip dust and debris off processing machinery.

• Bulk Material Handling: Lift, load, scoop, and clear heavy materials across multi-level processing floors.

• Respirator & Safety Wear: Consistently wear full personal protective equipment, including a respirator, in high-dust operational bays.

• Plant Environment: Perform continuous physical labor in an unconditioned, dusty, and temperature-variable plant environment.

What You Need

• Required Footwear: Steel-Toed Boots are mandatory from Day 1.

• Heavy Physical Capability: Comfortable with continuous physical labor (shoveling, lifting, bending) in a dusty, non-climate-controlled environment.

• PPE Compliance: Able and willing to wear a protective respirator throughout your shift.

• Schedule Availability: Able to work rotating 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts every 3 weeks, including mandatory weekends and overtime.

• Reliability: Rock-solid attendance and dependable transportation to Saint Louis, MO 63115.

• Screening: Willingness to complete standard pre-employment background checks and screenings.
