What You Will Do

• Equipment Operation: Primary responsibility for safely operating forklifts to load, unload, transport, and stack inventory across shipping and receiving staging areas.

• Specialized Material Handling: Utilize overhead cranes, track mobiles, and specialized machinery to transport heavy materials and position rail cars safely.

• Inventory Management: Ensure all inventory and bulk materials are stored safely, blocked properly, and organized to prevent damage or safety hazards.

• Scanning & Paperwork: Utilize handheld RF scanners to track inbound/outbound inventory and complete accurate daily tracking documentation.

• Facility Prep & Safety: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work site in compliance with industrial safety protocols.

What You Need

• Forklift Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in an industrial, distribution, or material handling environment required.

• Specialized Equipment: Prior experience operating overhead cranes, track mobiles, or handheld RF scanners is strongly preferred.

• Industry Background: Previous experience in transportation, metal processing, or heavy material warehousing is a major plus.

• Detail & Safety: Strong attention to detail, proper material stacking knowledge, and commitment to workplace safety.

• Reliability: Daily punctuality and dependable transportation to O'Fallon, MO 63366.

• Screening: Ability to pass standard pre-employment background checks and screenings.
