Express is hiring facility maintenance workers in Hattiesburg & Laurel!

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair major appliances, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, roofing, and other building systems.
Perform general property maintenance, including painting, landscaping, irrigation, pool care, gutters, sidewalks, and ice/snow removal as required.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete repairs correctly and within established timeframes.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and inspect buildings, grounds, vacant units, and equipment for maintenance and safety concerns.
Assist with unit turnovers, renovations, and maintaining the overall appearance and curb appeal of the property.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following company safety policies and procedures.
Monitor maintenance supplies, tools, and inventory; assist with purchasing and maintaining appropriate stock levels.
Communicate professionally with residents, staff, vendors, contractors, and supervisors while providing a high level of customer service.

1+ years of experience in facility maintenance, property maintenance, building maintenance, or a related hands-on trade.
EPA Type I and II certification preferred.
Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance required.
Basic knowledge and safe use of hand and power tools.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Basic computer skills for work orders, maintenance records, and inventory tracking.
Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs., use ladders, work at heights and in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding maintenance tasks.
Ability to perform maintenance and repair work safely without endangering themselves, residents, coworkers, or others.
