QA/QC II

Located in Lubbock, TX

Salary: $18.00-$20.00 DOE

Position Summary Independently perform inspections and testing of components, subassemblies, and finished goods. Support nonconformance investigations and documentation in Epicor.

Key Responsibilities

• · Perform detailed inspections (dimensional, visual, functional) using standard and advanced measuring tools.
• · Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine accept/reject criteria.
• · Create, process, and maintain NCRs in Epicor.
• · Support root cause investigations with production and engineering.
• · Assist in maintaining calibration records and internal audits.
• · Provide training and guidance to Quality Technician I staff.
• · Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• · Use Epicor MES.
• · Use Paycom.
• · Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• 2+ years experience in inspection or quality assurance.
• Strong ability to read blueprints, GD&T, and specifications.
• Working knowledge of ERP quality modules, preferably Epicor.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or equivalent QMS.
• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift-up to 50 pounds at a time.
• Work in a shop environment subject to noise, moving parts, dust, fumes, and hot/cold temperatures.
