Maintenance Mechanic

Located in Clarksville, TN

Salary: $25 / hour

Job Description: 

Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking experienced candidates for a Maintenance Mechanic position with a Local Food Manufacturing Company.  This position will pay $25 / hr., and the hours are Monday - Friday from 2pm-10:30pm, could work as late as 2am and on Saturdays.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair processing equipment and machinery using hand and power tools
• Test equipment and precision-measuring instruments
• Perform major and minor electrical installation and repair of machinery/equipment
• Repair and maintain physical structure using paints, masonry, woodwork and plumbing
• Weld parts for fabrication to maintain equipment and machinery 
• Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential

Qualifications:

• Has High School Diploma or GED; Associates Degree preferred
• Must be able to rebuild pumps on an automated packaging machinery
• Must have knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs.
• Must have previous Machine Maintenance experience
• Must have previous welding, plumbing and electrical maintenance experience
• Must have Microsoft Office experience and computer skills
• Capable of working in a non temperature-controlled environment 
• Capable of physical movements such as reaching, bending, stooping, and lifting products above the shoulders if necessary
• Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE: PPE includes but is not limited to Closed toed shoes/boots, Safety Eyewear or Prescription Safety Eyewear, Hearing Protection
