Sheet Metal Assembly Technician

Pay: $17.00–$20.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Position Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to assist with the assembly of sheet metal components and finished products. This position requires someone who can follow detailed instructions, accurately count parts, and maintain quality standards throughout the assembly process.

Responsibilities

• Assemble sheet metal parts and components according to instructions and specifications.
• Operate brake press equipment as needed.
• Operate hardware press equipment to install hardware into sheet metal assemblies.
• Accurately count, organize, and verify parts.
• Inspect completed assemblies for accuracy and quality.
• Follow work orders, drawings, and verbal instructions.
• Maintain an organized and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
• Assist with other production and assembly duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous assembly, manufacturing, or sheet metal experience preferred.
• Brake press or hardware press experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Must be comfortable working with and counting multiple small parts and components.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand tools.
• Dependable with strong attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work efficiently in a production environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and safely perform the physical requirements of the position.
