This role involves operating and maintaining various types of heavy machinery, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, and other equipment used in construction, industrial, and municipal environments. This role requires strong attention to detail, reliable performance, and the ability to follow all safety, environmental, and operational guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment for digging, grading, loading, and site preparation.
  • Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance on assigned machinery.
  • Follow all OSHA, site, and company safety procedures.
  • Work closely with supervisors and crew members to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area and report any hazards or equipment issues.
  • Read and follow site plans, instructions, and job specifications.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Proven experience operating heavy equipment (client may specify exact machinery).
  • Strong safety record and ability to work in fast‑paced outdoor environments.
  • Must meet company eligibility requirements, including:
    • No felony convictions
    • No violent offenses
    • No recent drug‑related charges
    • Not listed as a registered sex offender
  • Ability to lift, climb, and work in varying weather conditions.
  • Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
Previous experience is required.
