Paint Masker/Detailer 1st Shift

Located in Valencia, CA

Salary: $20-25hr

Responsibilities include;

• Preparation of parts prior to prime and paint activities including cleaning, masking, and sealing of landing gear and hydro-mechanical components per work order/ traveler instructions
• Application of corrosion preventatives
• Final detail/ identification of parts post prime and paint activity including touch-up, and identification using stenciling, adhesive labels, stamping, and clear coat.   

Knowledge and Skill Requirements include;

• The ability to read, write, and understand English
• Detail oriented with excellent time management skills
• Capable of moving unaided throughout the facility and lifting at least 25 lb
• A general understanding of paint specifications
• A general understanding of sealant preparation and application techniques
• Ability to read blue prints, CMM/OHM’s and shop travelers
• The ability to measure final coating thicknesses
• Practical experience in the procedures, practices, inspection methods, materials, tools, and equipment generally used in the work for which the repair station is rated.
