Location: Salem, OR
PAY: $15.05/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Overtime: Plenty of opportunity for overtime

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for an entry-level Pressroom Jogger position with a Salem printing company. This role involves bundling, organizing, and preparing stacks of printed paper for production and shipment.

 

Job Duties

• Move paper from a conveyor onto pallets.
• Stack paper neatly or place products into boxes.
• Calculate quantities on pallets using basic math.
• Read and use a scale.
• Assist with cleaning and production setup.
• Remain on your feet throughout the shift, except during scheduled breaks and lunch.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. consistently throughout the day, as boxes of newspaper can be heavy.

Requirements

• Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply.
• Basic math skills are required.
• Ability to read a scale.
• Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Ability to consistently lift up to 50 lbs.

Important Workplace Requirement

Absolutely NO cell phones are allowed on your person or in the production area. Cell phones must be left in your vehicle or stored in a locker if one is available.

This is an entry-level opportunity with lots of room for growth. Associates who are considered for hire-on may receive cross-training in other areas of the facility, including opportunities to learn forklift operation.
