Process Technician

Located in Edinburgh, IN

Salary: $60,000-$75,000 a year

 Company Information: A Plastics Manufacturer in Edinburgh is hiring a Process Technician to their team! The company serves many industries including automotive, healthcare, lawn and garden and industrial. Company is hiring immediately!

The Process Technician

• Is responsible for start-up and processing of molding machines, robots, and auxiliary equipment
• Will oversee daily production schedules.
• Is responsible for maintaining production cycle, overseeing temperatures and timing per scientific molding processes.
• Will also train and assist machine operators.
• Will participate in sampling of new equipment, troubleshooting processes, performing mold setter and machine operator responsibilities, and more.

Pay/Benefits:

• $60,000-$75,000/YR (based on experience)

Schedule:

• 2nd Shift
• Monday - Friday
• 4:00PM - 12:30AM

Requirements:

• Ideally 10-15 years of experience in injection mold
• Work safe knowledge of equipment (crane movements, machine safeties, electricity, etc.)
• Understanding of fundamental injection molding processes going from pellet to part
• Basic understanding of machine/robot sequence programming
• Ability to interpret and translate engineering designs and documentation
• Basic understanding of mold tooling
• Understanding of water cooling and air supply system
