1st Shift Electromechanical Assembler

Located in Shelbyville, IN

Salary: Up to $30/hr

Company Information: A leading manufacturer of advanced emissions and exhaust aftertreatment systems is seeking a Electromechanical Assembler to join their growing team in Shelbyville. This position plays a key role in assembling, testing, and troubleshooting electrical control systems, as well as hydraulic and pneumatic dosing systems used in innovative environmental technology solutions.

 

 

Electromechanical Assembler Job Duties:

• Assemble and wire electrical control systems
• Build hydraulic and pneumatic dosing systems
• Test and inspect completed systems to ensure proper functionality
• Troubleshoot control systems and final assemblies
• Review and update electrical schematics and technical drawings
• Assist with technical documentation, test instructions, and reports
• Contribute ideas for product improvements and process optimization
• Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve production goals

Schedule:

• 1st Shift available
• Monday - Friday
• 8am-5pm
• 1-hour lunch break

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET), Electrical Engineering Technology (EET), or related field; OR Associate degree as an Automation Technician, Electromechanical Technician, or equivalent technical training
• Experience assembling and wiring electrical control systems
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
• Experience testing, troubleshooting, and validating control systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical documentation and procedures
