Cabinet Assembler I

Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring a Cabinet Assembler I for one of our valued clients in the manufacturing industry. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, take pride in producing quality products, and thrive in a team-oriented environment.

Schedule: Mon-Fri 5 AM-2:30 PM | Pay: $21/hr.

Position Summary

The Cabinet Assembler I performs basic assembly operations involving routine and repetitive tasks. This position is responsible for producing accurate, high-quality products while maintaining safety, cleanliness, and productivity standards.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe work environment by using proper lifting techniques and following all safety procedures.
  • Inspect parts and materials for defects.
  • Position and align components using fixtures, holding devices, and hand tools such as screwdrivers and pliers.
  • Properly use, maintain, and care for equipment and tools, including performing minor preventive maintenance when required.
  • Meet and maintain production standards within the assigned product team.
  • Participate in inventory counting and stock management processes.
  • Complete required documentation accurately and legibly.
  • Monitor and maintain proper stock levels within the assigned work area.
  • Maintain company standards for quality, cleanliness, and organization.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by team leads and management to support operational goals.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time at an assembly workstation (65% to 100% of the workday).
  • Frequently lift items weighing 1 to 5 pounds.
  • Frequent repetitive use of hands, wrists, and arms, including grasping and squeezing motions.
  • Occasional walking, reaching above shoulder level, and reaching below shoulder level.
  • Occasional carrying of items weighing 1 to 5 pounds.
  • Ability to push or pull up to 10 pounds for distances up to 100 feet on concrete surfaces.
  • Manual dexterity required for light mechanical work.
  • Good vision and hearing are required.

Work Schedule
