Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Overview: We are looking for an energetic, knowledgeable, and customer-focused Floor Sales Associate to join our team. This role is the face of our showroom floor — working directly with home builders, contractors, and their clients to help them find the right products for their projects. The ideal candidate is approachable, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping people make confident purchasing decisions. Prior experience in building materials, construction, or a related industry is a plus, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn will go a long way.

Responsibilities:

Sales & Customer Engagement:

• Greet and assist builders, contractors, and clients on the showroom floor in a professional and welcoming manner
• Listen to customer needs and guide them toward products and solutions that fit their project requirements
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with home builders and repeat clients
• Follow up on quotes, inquiries, and pending orders to move sales forward
• Stay current on product knowledge, new inventory, and industry trends to better serve customers

Order & Account Management:

• Prepare and process customer quotes, orders, and sales transactions accurately
• Coordinate with internal teams to confirm product availability, lead times, and delivery details
• Track open orders and communicate updates to customers in a timely manner
• Assist with resolving order issues, discrepancies, or product concerns as they arise

Showroom & Administrative Support:

• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom floor
• Assist with restocking, product displays, and sample organization
• Support the team with data entry, filing, and general administrative tasks as needed
• Participate in inventory counts and help monitor showroom stock levels

Requirements:

• Prior experience in sales, customer service, or a related role preferred
• Background in building materials, construction supply, home improvement, or working with home builders a strong plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills — comfortable building relationships with contractors and trade professionals
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple customers and orders simultaneously
• Proficient in basic computer skills and comfortable learning industry or point-of-sale software
• Self-motivated, reliable, and a team player
• Must be punctual and dependable — Monday through Friday availability required
