Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay: $24.80 per hour

Position Summary

Express Employment is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Chemist to join our team. This position is responsible for performing laboratory testing, analyzing materials and products, maintaining accurate records, and supporting quality and production objectives.

The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, sound analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a laboratory and manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform chemical and laboratory analyses according to established procedures.
• Test raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products for quality and compliance.
• Prepare samples, reagents, and laboratory solutions as needed.
• Accurately document test results, observations, and laboratory activities.
• Review and analyze laboratory data and communicate results to appropriate teams.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all laboratory, safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
• Assist with investigations, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities.
• Work collaboratively with Quality, Production, Research & Development, and other departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field preferred.
• Previous laboratory or manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to accurately follow written procedures and maintain detailed records.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work safely with laboratory chemicals and equipment.
