Job Title: Light Industrial Worker – Jewelry Production

Location: Cranston, RI
Schedule: M-F 7:00 am - 4:30 pm
Pay Rate: $17/hr

 

Position Overview:

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Light Industrial Workers to join our jewelry production team in a factory environment. In this role, you will assist with the plating process by carefully racking and unracking jewelry pieces, hanging jewelry onto pins, operating soldering machines at a workstation, and supporting various production tasks to ensure high-quality finished products.

 

This is a hands-on, repetitive production position performed primarily at a workstation throughout the day. Successful candidates should be comfortable learning processes quickly, following detailed instructions, and performing the same tasks consistently while maintaining quality and attention to detail.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Rack and unrack jewelry pieces in preparation for the plating process
• Hang jewelry pieces onto pins for processing
• Assist with plating and finishing processes following company procedures
• Operate soldering machines at a designated workstation
• Inspect jewelry items for quality and consistency
• Handle delicate jewelry pieces carefully to prevent damage
• Perform repetitive production tasks while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
• Maintain an organized and clean workstation
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
• Learn new production processes and procedures quickly
• Support additional production, packaging, or factory tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing, production, factory, or light industrial experience preferred
• Ability to learn and pick up training quickly
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with small, delicate items
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks at a workstation throughout the day
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time in a factory/production environment
• Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements throughout the workday
• Ability to handle small jewelry components and work with precision
• Good vision and fine motor skills
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally
• Ability to remain focused and attentive while working at a workstation for extended periods
