Key Responsibilities

Building Maintenance

• Perform general repairs and maintenance throughout campus facilities.
• Troubleshoot and fix minor building, equipment, and facility issues.
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks as assigned.

Custodial Services

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas.
• Conduct special cleaning projects as needed.
• Ensure facilities meet cleanliness and safety standards.

Grounds Maintenance

• Mow lawns, trim landscaping, and maintain outdoor campus areas.
• Remove snow from walkways, parking lots, and entrances.
• Apply salt or ice melt to ensure safe walking and driving conditions during winter weather.

Qualifications

Required

• General maintenance, janitorial, custodial, or facilities experience.
• Ability to safely operate lawn care and maintenance equipment.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, and reaching.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to safely operate maintenance and groundskeeping equipment.
