Job Overview

We are seeking an Assistant Construction Superintendent to support the construction of a fitness center in the Waukegan, IL area. The ideal candidate has general construction experience, can read plans and blueprints, and is comfortable performing hands-on labor and maintaining a clean, safe jobsite.

• Assist the Construction Superintendent with daily construction activities at a fitness center project.
• Read and understand construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
• Perform hands-on construction labor and assist with general building tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite while following OSHA and company safety standards.
• Support the construction team with daily jobsite needs and other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• General building/construction experience required.
• Ability to read construction plans and blueprints.
• Willingness to perform hands-on labor and jobsite cleanup.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
