Position Summary The Ash Hauler is responsible for safely transporting ash and waste materials using roll-off trucks and containers. This role requires strong attention to safety, reliable driving skills, and the ability to operate roll-off equipment efficiently across industrial, landfill, and plant environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate roll-off trucks to haul ash, debris, and waste materials between designated sites.

• Safely load, secure, transport, and unload roll-off containers following company and DOT regulations.

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.

• Navigate routes efficiently while maintaining compliance with all safety and environmental guidelines.

• Communicate with dispatch, supervisors, and site personnel to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.

• Follow all facility protocols for ash handling, dumping, and container placement.

• Maintain cleanliness of truck and equipment and ensure proper functioning of hydraulic systems.

• Assist with general yard or site tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL (A or B depending on client requirements).

• Proven roll-off truck experience; ash hauling experience strongly preferred.

• Strong safety record and understanding of DOT regulations.

• Ability to work in industrial, landfill, or plant environments.

• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Ability to lift, climb, and maneuver heavy equipment as required.

Work Environment

• Outdoor and industrial settings with exposure to dust, ash, and varying weather conditions.

• May require overtime, early mornings, or extended shifts depending on workload.
