Location: Santa Ana, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay: Up to $27.00/hour, depending on experience
Job Type: Evaluation Hire | Full-Time

Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for an experienced Billing Specialist for a growing company in Santa Ana. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable working with multiple billing systems, and confident communicating directly with customers to resolve billing questions and discrepancies.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on billing experience, strong attention to detail, and experience working with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue semi-monthly customer invoices

• Create detailed invoices 

• Prepare master bills by customer while ensuring accuracy and completeness

• Process billing for additional service types, including flat-rate professional services

• Maintain accurate billing records

• Reconcile billing information between systems to ensure consistency and accuracy

• Research and resolve discrepancies between service records and billing systems

• Communicate regularly with dealership customers regarding invoices, questions, corrections, and adjustments

• Coordinate with operations, supervisors, and employees to verify services performed

• Handle billing disputes and adjustments professionally and promptly

• Track billing corrections, outstanding issues, and necessary follow-up

• Create and distribute recurring billing reports

• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of financial and customer information

Qualifications

• Previous billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, or accounting support experience

• Strong Excel and general computer skills

• Ability to reconcile information and identify billing discrepancies

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Comfortable communicating with customers regarding billing questions and corrections

• Strong organizational and follow-up skills

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and semi-monthly billing cycles

• Experience with ReconPro or automotive/dealership billing is a plus, but not required
