Certified Forklift Operator (Sit-Down) 

 

We are seeking a reliable and safety-minded Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse operations in Lenexa, KS. This full-time role is ideal for a certified operator who can handle material movement, freight loading, and general warehouse upkeep while maintaining high productivity and safety standards.

 

Position Overview

The Forklift Operator will use a sit-down forklift to load and unload LTL and truck shipments, break down pallets, and move materials throughout the warehouse. This position includes additional warehouse responsibilities such as sweeping, cleaning, and trash removal to help maintain a safe and organized facility. Candidates must be comfortable with physical labor and able to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move, load, and unload freight
• Handle LTL shipments and truck deliveries with accuracy and efficiency
• Break down pallets and stage materials as required
• Lift and carry products weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Perform general warehouse maintenance, including sweeping, cleaning, and removing trash
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow all company and OSHA safety guidelines
• Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned

 

Requirements

• Valid forklift certification
• Experience operating a sit-down forklift is required
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly and perform physical labor
• Strong dependability, attention to detail, and work ethic
• Ability to work Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Willingness to support general maintenance tasks

Job Details

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm
Pay: $20.00 per hour
