Delivery Driver/ Machine Operator

Position Overview: The Skilled Driver & Machine Operator is responsible for safely operating company vehicles, transporting materials, and running production machinery according to established specifications. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, safe driving practices, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced industrial environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing both driving and machine operation duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport materials, equipment, or products

• Maneuver and back vehicles into tight, confined, or complex spaces

• Load and unload materials while following proper safety procedures

• Operate machinery and production equipment according to work orders

• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed

• Inspect finished materials to ensure accuracy and quality

• Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles and machines

• Follow all safety guidelines, DOT regulations, and company policies

• Maintain accurate delivery logs, production records, and documentation

• Communicate professionally with clients, supervisors, and team members

• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred depending on client needs

• Proven experience as a driver in industrial, construction, or manufacturing settings

• Previous machine operation experience strongly preferred

• Ability to safely maneuver vehicles in tight or restricted areas

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods

• Basic math and measurement skills

• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
