Shipping/Receiving Associate - $17.50

Located in Oak Harbor, WA

Salary: $17.50

Express Employment Professionals of Mount Vernon is currently recruiting a Shipping Associate on behalf of our client, a well-established contract electronics manufacturing company. This position is responsible for ensuring customer orders are accurately prepared, packaged, documented, and shipped according to quality and customer requirements.

What you get to do:

• Properly pack materials for safe transport.
• Learn and follow proper lifting methods.
• Accurately count PWA’s and mark boxes with shipping labels.
• Keep accurate daily log of shipped items and quantities.
• Ship product via company truck, UPS, or Fed Ex.
• Follow production schedule.
• Interact with Production Manager and Delivery Driver for changes in shipping priorities.
• Assist company Delivery Driver in loading truck.
• Follow company and department safety and operating policies and procedures.
• Follow ISO 9001/AS9100 standards and requirements.

What you need to be successful:

• Prior experience in manufacturing environments involving electronics is preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Pay: $17.50

Schedule: Monday through Friday from 7:30AM to 4:00PM
