Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join a growing machinery manufacturer in Tonawanda, NY! 

 

This role involves assembling mechanical components according to drawings and specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience with tools and equipment used in industrial assembly.

 

Shift: Mon-Fri, 7:00am-3:30pm.

Overtime hours are 7:00am-4:30pm or 6:30am-4:30pm.

Payrate: $20-22/hr based on experience

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble parts and components based on technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Collaborate with team members to build large and complex assemblies.
• Perform final packing of assemblies after successful quality checks.
• Operate and maintain various tools and equipment including: hand tools, drills, forklifts, pallet jacks, overhead cranes, and rigging equipment
• Utilize computers (email communication) and iPads (photo documentation)
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation accurately.

 

Qualifications:

• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience using hand tools and industrial equipment.
• Comfortable working in a team environment on large-scale projects.
• Basic computer and tablet proficiency.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Candidates are encouraged to bring their own tools/toolbox.
