Express Employment Professionals in Manhattan, Kansas is looking for an energetic, motivated, and relationship-focused Outside Sales Representative to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting people, developing relationships, winning new business, and seeing the direct results of their efforts. You’ll represent a well-established staffing organization while building relationships with businesses throughout Manhattan and the surrounding area.

What You’ll Do

As our Outside Sales Representative, you’ll be responsible for developing new business and expanding relationships within our market. Your focus will be getting out into the community, meeting decision-makers, understanding their workforce challenges, and showing them how Express Employment Professionals can help.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Prospecting and developing new business throughout the Manhattan area
• Conducting face-to-face sales calls with business owners, managers, HR professionals, and other decision-makers
• Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of prospective clients
• Scheduling and conducting client appointments and presentations
• Identifying staffing and workforce needs and developing solutions for prospective clients
• Following up consistently with prospects and existing clients
• Building long-term relationships that generate repeat business
• Networking and representing Express at community and business events
• Participating in local organizations, networking groups, and community activities
• Working closely with our recruiting and staffing team to ensure we deliver on our commitments
• Tracking sales activity, opportunities, and results
• Achieving established sales and new-business goals

Schedule

Normal office hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

This is primarily a Monday–Friday position; however, because relationship-building and community involvement are important parts of the role, some evening and weekend events will be required.
