Temporary IT Service Delivery Coordinator / Dispatcher

Summary

As the Temporary IT Service Delivery Coordinator / Dispatcher, you will provide critical administrative and operational support that enables our technical teams to deliver exceptional service efficiently and effectively. This role serves as a central coordination point between clients, service engineers, and internal teams, ensuring resources are scheduled appropriately, service requests are managed proactively, and service delivery goals are met.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment. Success in this role requires effective coordination of service activities, proactive monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs), and a commitment to maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for client communications related to service requests, scheduling, and service delivery coordination.
  • Schedule and dispatch IT support engineers and deployment resources to ensure timely service delivery and optimal resource utilization.
  • Coordinate workstation deployments, service calls, and on-site engagements while maintaining adherence to client timelines and expectations.
  • Monitor service queues and technician workloads, adjusting schedules and priorities as needed to maintain efficiency and responsiveness.
  • Proactively track and manage Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance and escalate concerns when service levels may be at risk.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, service activities, and workflow updates within our Professional Services Automation (PSA) platform, Autotask.
  • Generate and review operational reports and KPIs to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for service improvement.
  • Collaborate with service leadership, engineers, and other administrative staff to ensure effective communication and coordination across the organization.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery processes and customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience coordinating schedules, dispatching resources, or supporting service delivery operations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate documentation.
  • The ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-focused when managing changing priorities and urgent requests.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and business management systems; experience with Autotask or a similar PSA platform is preferred.
  • An understanding of IT service delivery, managed services, or technical support operations is highly desirable.

Pay: $20-$22.50 per hour

Shift: 7AM-4PM, Monday-Friday

Start Date: ASAP. August 26th through September 18th.
