Glass Field Cleanup Technician

Position Summary
The Glass Field Cleanup Technician is responsible for cleaning and restoring work areas after glass installation, repair, and service projects. This role ensures customer locations are left clean, safe, and free of glass debris, packaging materials, and construction-related waste while supporting installation crews in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean job sites following glass installation or repair work.
• Remove glass fragments, packaging materials, old glazing, sealants, and other debris.
• Sweep, vacuum, and tidy work areas to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Safely collect and dispose of glass waste and construction materials.
• Assist glass installers with site preparation and material handling as needed.
• Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials from company vehicles.
• Inspect completed work areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
• Follow all company safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain company vehicles, cleaning equipment, and supplies.
• Provide professional and courteous service when working at customer locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to safely work around glass products and construction environments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.

Work Environment

• Residential and commercial job sites.
• Frequent travel to customer locations.
• Exposure to construction environments, glass materials, and varying weather conditions.
• Required use of safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots, and other PPE as needed.
