Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Field Technician to join our team. This role involves operating hydro excavation equipment to safely expose underground utilities and support excavation projects. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, working outdoors, and being part of a collaborative field crew.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate hydro excavation equipment, including vacuum trucks and high-pressure water systems
• Perform daylighting, trenching, and utility exposure with precision and care
• Assist with job site setup, traffic control, and equipment maintenance
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and industry regulations
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, crew members, and customers
• Complete daily job reports and documentation as required
• Maintain a clean and professional job site at all times

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience in hydro excavation, construction, utilities, or related field preferred (training available for the right candidate)
• Valid driver’s license;
• Clean driving record required
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs (heavier assisted) and perform physical labor
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
