Express Employment Professionals of Oak Lawn is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Store Reset Merchandisers to support an upcoming Inventory Optimization Project within a retail automotive environment.

This role will focus primarily on stockroom organization, inventory movement, and product sequencing. Associates will play a key role in improving inventory accuracy, maximizing stockroom efficiency, and preparing merchandise for redistribution.

Key Responsibilities

• Pull merchandise and inventory from designated store locations
• Sort, organize, and prepare product for shipment to a warehouse
• Reorganize and optimize stockroom layout and inventory placement
• Verify product sequencing and maintain inventory accuracy
• Assist with store reset and inventory optimization initiatives
• Build and assemble fixtures, shelving, and storage components as required by project scope
• Move and stage merchandise safely throughout the facility
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, inventory, warehouse, retail reset, or stockroom experience preferred
• Knowledge of automotive parts or prior experience working with car parts is a major plus
• Associates will be working primarily in the stockroom and should be able to understand product organization and sequencing requirements
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a project team

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move product throughout the shift
