Metal Finishing Line Operator

Salary: $21.50 an hour

Express Employment of Downey is currently seeking a METAL FINISHING LINE OPERATOR for a metal plating company in the city of Bell Gardens, CA.

PAY: $21.50 an hour

SHIFT: Mon through Fri, 10PM - 5:30AM

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: long-term/permanent hire

Qualifications:

• 1+ year manufacturing experience REQUIRED
• Willingness to "learn on the job"
• Positive attitude and able to work well with others
• Excellent communication (verbal and written)
• Able to follow instructions

Responsibilities:

• With precision, sets up, operates, and makes basic adjustments to the assigned line in following the job card specifications
• Measures and mixes required plating or cleaning solutions to accomplish the required results in performing plating operations
• Performs record keeping pertaining to operations, such as production line logs, daily machine logs, etc.
• Performs housekeeping and follows safety regulations
• Periodically test solutions using appropriate testing devices and introducing additives required to keep the solutions at the proper strength, density, and temperature
• Other duties as assigned
