Mechanical Technician

Located in Kennesaw, GA

Salary: $18.00/Hour

Monday - Friday 6:30AM to 3:30PM

 

We are seeking a responsible and reliable Mechanical Technician to join one of our great clients in Kennesaw, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly and disassembly of standard mechanical products, replacing components, following correct assembly procedures, and conducting basic testing to ensure quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble standard mechanical products

• Follow detailed assembly instructions and correct assembly procedures

• Replace mechanical components as needed

• Conduct basic testing to verify proper function

• Use hand tools, torque tools, and other mechanical equipment

• Apply proper torque techniques to ensure product integrity

• Maintain less than 2% rework through accuracy and quality control

• Handle items up to 20 lbs safely

• Work with basic electronic components and mechanical assemblies

• Communicate with team members and leadership to support production goals

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required

• Experience with common mechanical assemblies

• Fastener identification knowledge

• Basic understanding of printer mechanisms

• Experience with electronic components preferred

• Car mechanic experience is considered transferable

• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs

• Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, stoop, and use hands/fingers for extended periods

• Clear background required

• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
